Treat Night Time Anxiety

I would think that the vast majority of anxiety suffers, would like to be adept to treat night time anxietyr. I do not make out what it is, but having night time anxiety feels tons worse than having anxiety through the day.

I used to suffer from night time anxiety really bad, it got to the point where I started to be afraid of the night time. And of course the extra thought that I gave to it the stronger my night time anxiety got. It started to be a viscous circle.

But how i learnt to treat night time anxiety, was that i set into place some coping strageties.

The foremost thing I did was to have a dvd player in the bedroom, and watched my favourite films to sidetrack me from my anxiety. For the reason that I really desired a good quality nights sleep.

Actually what I required was a disruption from my anxiety. Concentrating on a film that I liked distracted my mind, which gave me small breaks from my anxiety. Although it was more than that, if a distraction could impede my anxiety it just proved to me that my belief where creating my anxiety.
This really started to aid me treat my night time anxiety. A tiny break from my anxiety was certainly appreciated, I can tell you.

I also bought some relaxation cd’s to listen too as I was trying to go to sleep. Being relaxed really does alleviate anxiety. Whilst we are in a anxious state are bodies are so tensed and prepared for the fight or flight syndrome, we in reality need to get our bodies to unwind and feel calm and peaceful. I cannot stress this enough, get your body to relax.

I also tried exercises at night before I went to bed to get rid of all my surplus energy. This can sound weird but I was up for trying anything to treat night time anxiety. My night time course of therapy was exercise, immerse in the bath, then either a dvd or a relaxation tape to benefit me get off to sleep.

You may well also try taking some natural herbs at night to support you relax and get off to sleep. Make sure you seek advice from a professional who can guide you on what to take and how much to take.

If you do not mind taking medication to treat night time anxiety, then there are sleeping tablets or sedatives that you can take that will help you lessen your night time anxiety. Again ask your physician about what tablets are available and not dangerous to take.

But keep in mind taking medication for anxiety does not cure your anxiety, but it does give you a break from it. The best way to treat anxiety is to find a counsellor or personal coach who can help you to work through the issues that are causing your anxiety. This is the only way to treat night time anxiety and s it.
