This happens because the fat cells shrink at the same time that your muscles get bigger and stronger. Take your measurements regularly as you work to get fit. You might find that the numbers on your scale stay the same but the numbers on your clothing shrink. You need to remember this so that you don’t get discouraged while you work on getting fit.
