Sometimes, it is truly tough to motivate yourself when you work from home. Most days I do not have an issue getting all of my work finished and staying on task, yet recently I have found myself procrastinating a ton.
I think it has to do with the fact that while my Wrap Bracelet online business is actually profitable, I’m not challenged sufficiently by it. Don’t get me wrong I have a lot of work that I could be working on, but it is the stuff that I find to be really uninteresting and tiresome. For instance marketing, I dislike advertising and marketing, nothing and I mean nothing about marketing myself or my Bracelets is attractive to me. I understand this is a awful attitude to have, and I have attempted to put a positive spin on it but when I sit down to get a game plan together my head goes blank and I find something diffrent to do. I realize I’d make a whole lot more cash if I decide to put even a tenth of the energy into advertising. The end results are not always instant, like when I make a unique bracelet. So I feel like everything that I do fails to succeed.
I have got to try to promote my bracelets because I am incredibly pleased with the work I do, and I would like buyers to see all the thought and attention that I put into my wrap bracelets. I want them to enjoy wearing them as much as I like making them. To help motivate myself My goal is to teach myself a different bracelet making process. It will offer my shoppers more options and styles to select from. As a bonus perhaps it’ll get me energized enough to promote them by using the many marketing abilities that I have got, but up to now won’t really put into practice. Come to think of it, even crafting this post regarding my amazing procrastinating abilities has stimulated me a tiny bit.
