Upon arriving at Shortflatt Tower I was met by extremely helpful and friendly staff who were happy to show me around. The beamed bedrooms, antique furnishings and cast-iron roll top baths were particular highlights when touring the large and luxurious Tower lets. Shortflatt marries old and new perfectly, the facilities are modern and state-of-the art, yet the sense of history in the place is ever present. The dining room is complete with family portraits, a cosy wood burner and lovely south facing garden views.
