NJ has never been my initial choice for a family vacation location. Everyone makes jokes about it not being very clean and of course you have the infamous Jersey Shore Telly show. So when my companion wanted to go to Long Beach Island which is a part of New Jersey I wasn’t particularly excited, however had I done some actual research on the place I would have known in advance how great a location it is.
We stayed in a great Long Beach Island accommodation in Beach Haven. The home was lovely and it had a fantastic view. Every morning we would sit on the deck and sip our tea and enjoy the sun come up. I’m aware that would seem a bit ridiculous to be up so early on holiday but it was well worth the while. Long Beach Island is really a awesome location to have a restful vacation.
There are stunning old Victorian houses along with more modern villas, apartments, condos, and townhouses which are used for LBI vacation rentals plus there is Barnegat lighthouse. I understand that might sound a little boring to go and see a lighthouse even so it was actually interesting. The lighthouse is located on the northern end of Long Beach Island in the appropriately titled Barnegat Lighthouse State Park. I really enjoy taking walks it relaxes me, but My partner and I are living in a big city so even though I do like to walk it’s largely down busy walk ways and it doesn’t smell that good when you’ve got massive trucks driving all-around and don’t forget about garbage day when it’s nice and hot. The park had a lot of awesome nature trails for walking and it was wonderful to have a nice stroll with out all of the noise and unpleasant smells that I normally have to endure.
My spouse and I ate at a number of fantastic restaurants, which in my view eating excellent food is one of the more essential things you can do on holiday. I don’t always remember everything I did on a certain holiday but I always remember if I had a great meal and where I had it.
I vacation a lot and I have been to some pretty outrageous places where anything can happen and to be truthful Long Beach Island isn’t one of those places. I did enjoy my holiday there for completely different reasons. It was relaxing and it was a home away from home type of place. There are lots of Long Beach Island rentals to choose. There’s great boating and aquatic sports as well as great beaches for reading a great book. It is a nice spot to unwind with your partner and it is a great destination to have a family gathering or vacation.
