Enterprising Women – Women Entrepreneurship

March 6, 2015 sarah Uncategorized

Today there are more enterprising women stepping out there and starting their own business than ever before. This is a huge step, especially considering just about one hundred years ago women were hardly allowed to do anything. The rate of women in the workforce has increased significantly and there is actually almost an equal amount of men and women today in the workforce making a living. Women entrepreneurship has certainly come a long way and it allows women to start their own enterprise and live their best life.

Women are not just putting their dreams and goals on the backburner anymore. Most educational institutions offer these sorts of classes today. Women’s entrepreneurship is about much more than a few women here and there starting their own business. It is about women gaining a more important position in society and having the importance that they deserve.

Women are taking a more commanding role in life in general than they ever have. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the idea of a stay at home dad and it is certainly becoming more and more acceptable all the time. There are still a lot of negative issues that have to be tackled so everything is not completely set and women do still have a long way to go. For one thing women do really care a lot about their children and most of the time, have to stay with their child to breastfeed or for other reasons after they are born.

There are constantly new studies on women entrepreneurship being taken, and they go to show that the rates of women in the workforce are continuing to rise. Then there is the fact that some women have just not had the opportunity to learn the entrepreneurship skills that are going to help them start their career and get going with their own life. They are therefore not able to get the confidence out of those lessons and able to feel that they can really do something with their life. There have been other studies which revolved around women entrepreneurship but in a different manner.

What they have shown is that women who learned entrepreneurship skills, even if they did not start their own business, were much more successful and much happier. Studies even showed that different races of women were more avid in the workforce, topping the list is Caucasian and African-American women. This just goes to show that classes on women entrepreneurship need to be made more available so that more women can access them. The topic of women entrepreneurship is one of great importance and one we must take seriously.
