Best Compound Bows – Hoyt

Today I would like to take a look some of compound bow offerings from Hoyt for the 2009/2010 bow hunting season. They make some of the best bow hunting equipment available today.  In a later article we’ll also look at the latest PSE Compound Bows.

Hoyt offer some of the best Compound Bows of all time. The Hoyt “Proelite Compound Bow” can release arrows at 302 feet per second. It has a draw range from 25 to 32.5 inches, with 1/2 plus wheel cams. The overall length from axle to axle is 37.25 inches. It is offered with XT 2000 or XT 3000 limbs, and it has a shoot through technology for the arrows. The 3/4-inch split limb has triax & dual locking pockets, and the laminated limbs are layered five times.

The 2nd Killer bow in the Hoyt Compound Bows selection is the “Hoyt Alphamax 32 Compound Bow”. This compound bow had its premiere at the beginning of 2009. This 32 inch, axle-to-axle compound bow has a mass weight of 3.9 lbs., and has an arrow speed of 321 feet per second. The camouflaged finished compound bow has a draw range from 23.5 to 30 inches, using XTR cam.

The 3rd Killer Compound Bow from the Hoyt Compound Bow Company is the “Hoyt 35 Compound Bow”. It uses XT 1000 limbs that releases its arrows at 313 feet per second. Its overall length is 37 inches from axle to axle, and cams & 1/2 plus. Its mass weight is 4.6 lbs. with a draw range from 24 to 32.5 inches.
