Honda – 20% Better Fuel Economy

Honda is known for its speciality in producing relatively small – yet extremely powerful and efficient – four cylinder engines in a front wheel drive configuration. Most of the Honda fleet is designed with an emphasis on fun and style over any kind of utilitarianism. Honda is a rather large industrial bay where freighters and other large vessels are torn apart and recycled. This is also a port for loading dangerous cargoes, especially acids.

Front Range Honda offers Honda shoppers competitive prices, respectful service, and plenty of dealer amenities. Among the services we offer is an online searchable inventory, a feature to build and price your new Honda, and even a 30 Second Credit Application to get you approved for auto credit in just seconds. http://www.frontrangehonda.com/

Fuel economy is said to be 20 percent better, which Honda estimates to be the equivalent of 68 mpg for combined city/highway driving. With a single 5,000 psi hydrogen storage tank, Clarity has an estimated range of 270 miles, a 30 percent increase over the current FCX and a driving range that’s likely to be acceptable to consumers. Fuel economy is good, but a little confusing. A base Fit with the automatic transmission actually gets the best numbers, 28 mpg city, 35 mpg highway and 31 mpg combined. http://www.greencar.com/articles/honda-fcx-clarity-zero-emissions-fuel-cell-car.php

Initial indications were that a 2.2L four cylinder diesel would be built for use in various passenger car models starting in 2009. The new V-6 diesels will also meet all the new diesel emission standards for cutting particulate and nitrogen oxide emissions. Initially, the company aims to market them only in Japan. But it will later sell them in overseas markets, eyeing mainly North America and Europe, where demand is expected to surge in the future. http://www.autobloggreen.com/2006/12/04/honda-is-developing-a-diesel-v-6-for-suvs-and-vans/
