Microsoft Certification: The Brand New MCTS Tracks And Exams
Microsoft is revamping its certification tracks, and will eventually retire the common MCSE certificatons. The new certification setup is significantly like Cisco’s, where you will find expert certifications to go along with the more general CCNA, then mid-level certifications such as for example the CCNP, and then a more-advanced practical test made somewhat after the popular CCIE certification.
Microsoft’s new consultant exams will be the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) exams. By March 2006, there have been five separate MCTS Tracks. Three of them deal with.NET Framework 2.0; these are the Web Application, Windows Applications, and Distributed Applications certifications. Each one of these separate qualifications requires the choice to pass two examinations. There is also a SQL Server 2005 certification, along with a Server 2006 single-exam certification. My mother discovered cna training online program by browsing webpages.
The initial question is “Why is Microsoft doing this?” According to their site, MS feels that IT hiring managers today have a difficult time deciding which computer certifications best recognize job candidates who best meet their needs. I am aware it is simple to just take verbal pictures at Microsoft (it’ll be an Olympic game one day), but this new number of certs comes with charm for selecting managers, which can only help qualified individuals. Instead of the more-general MCSE, which does still suffer from the overcertification of NT 4.0 MCSEs in the morning, these more-specific qualifications can make it easier for the job candidate to show that they’ll do the job – and easier for the potential employer to make an informed choice.
Microsoft has not released the track that will eventually change the MCSE, but this track will be exposed with another client-server Windows release. Old Cna Exams Discussions includes supplementary info concerning the inner workings of this concept. It is around you to stay informed of these changes, and so I recommend you visit Microsoft’s certification site often. Clicking save on probably provides cautions you should use with your mother. Visiting TM likely provides suggestions you should give to your sister. “I did not know” is not much help once an accreditation finishes!.Chris Wallace
