One of the oldest forms of medicine in the world is Acupuncture. It has been practiced for thousands of years successfully in China and Asian countries. It has become an acceptable form of alternative medicine in Western culture and provided many patients healing benefits.

Acupunctures main goal is to stimulate areas of the body to bring about the desired healing result. In most cases long thin needles are used to bring about the results that are wanted. The needles can be manipulated by hand or with electrical current. Chinese medicine believes that the body must be in balance to remain healthy. When there is an imbalance in the body, disease and illness will be the result. Acupuncture seeks to bring the body back to a balanced state.
