Installing air conditioning will bring huge benefits, whether you’re in IT, retail, hotels, leisure, education or manufacturing. The equipment should be energy efficient, quiet and easy to control. The improvement in air quality through the use of filters greatly improves the quality of life for those that suffer from hay fever or Asthma.

Most of us at one time or another, have had to work, stay or shop in buildings without air conditioning. It’s uncomfortable, tiring and distracting. Recent studies have shown that the ideal temperature to work in is around 20°C. and when the temperature rises by just 4°C to 24°C, productivity drops by as much as 15%, not only that, the chances of accidents will actually rises by 25%.

For retailers, the effect of excessive heat is dramatic. Not only can the stock be damaged by heat and humidity, the bottom line is affected by the lack of customers wishing to dwell in the shop. Installing air conditioning, however large or small will have a positive effect on your profits. Customers will want to shop with you, they will be happy to be out of the heat and dwell longer and spend more.

Hotels, restaurants and leisure facilities have a similar problem, if the atmosphere isn’t right, they won’t stay for long and certainly wont recommend you to their friends. Staff are more productive and effective if the temperature is controlled.
